SMPS Senior Product Marketing Manager

Job Overview

The Market Development Manager (MDM) role is a critical role to enhance the capability of
the EMEA Marketing department to rapidly identify market trends and new product
needs, produce accurate business plans, ensure swift deployment of new products
to Sales Teams and monitor market acceptance of new product introductions.

The role is field based with specific geographic responsibility for countries managed by
company’s Germany office.

The MDM will report to the Director of Marketing, EMEA and will be required to work closely with the rest of the EMEA Marketing team

Key Responsibilities·

  • Conduct regular Voice of Customer interviews, prepare detailed reports and summaries
  • Lead development of new business plans and product specifications when assigned
  • Launch assigned new products according to the company’s EMEA Marketing MR process
  • Assist other MDMs with their assigned new business plans and product specifications
  • Supervise new product roll outs in new regions
  • Participate in company’s Product Roadmap process
  • Attend local sales meetings, collate Sales team feedback, take necessary actions
  • Conduct training and seminars
  • Prepare sales team training and customer facing promotional material as appropriate e.g. product FAQ, videos , presentations
  • Clearly identify target market segments and key customers
  • Participate in new product price setting process
  • Support visits with Sales team to main opportunities·
  • Track samples of new products , monitor and report activity·
  • Track new product sales against overall targets
  • Drive Competitor database activity for region, liaising with sales teams
  • Provide frontline support for new products, coordinating other resources as required
  • Attend regular individual and team review meetings
  • Produce monthly activity report
