We’re looking for an experienced Lead Electronics Engineer to be part of the company that develops innovative electric bikes for urban riders. We want someone who shares ambitious vision: to change urban mobility through mass production of high-tech yet affordable electric bicycles.

 

Key Responsibilities And Activities Include

  • You will take ultimate responsibility over development and improvement of embedded system and system architecture. From concept to production, from the choice of supplier to signing-off detailed quality control charts.
  • Lead a team as working closely with Software, Mechanical Engineering and Manufacturing team
  • Design Electronic and Electrical architecture of the bike
  • Develop, integrate, evaluate Embedded electronics (Architecture design, Specification creation, Component selection, Schematic capture and PCB Layout, evaluation and certification)
  • Level-up engineering standard by creating and maintaining standard specification for electronics
  • Lead design review for RF module and other electronic and power module
  • Support product team to define new features specification and evaluate technical feasibility by rapid prototyping
  • Write test plans and perform testing and test reporting
  • Work closely with electronics assemblers and sub-contractors; on-site when required
 

Education And Experience Requirements
  • Preferably Master’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
  • At least 10+ years of experience of relevant industry experience
  • Knowledgeable in Power Electronics, RF/Bluetooth Connectivity
  • Experience with radio and power hardware design and system architecture
  • Familiarity with the challenges of development for high-volume manufacturing
  • Hands on experience with RF circuits and hardware on the lab bench
  • Experience in planning engineering projects (from concept to production)
  • Fluent in wireless communications standards, wireless technology
  • Experience in Cellular Handset, schematic capture tool (Altium), Python for test setup automation and data analysis
  • Efficient and pleasant communication skills
  • Strong personality capable to work in a team environment
