  Overview We’re looking for an experienced Channel Sales Partner Manager to be part of a leading manufacturer of UPS 3-phase in Lugano, Switzerland.

As a Channel Sales Partner Manager, you will report to the Global Sales Director, the primary responsibility of the 3 phase Sales Channel Partner Manager will involve, but not be limited to, the growth of the existing channel partnerships, the identification of potential new channel partners and the subsequent adoption of appropriate new channel partners to maximise the sales and profitability of the company’s products in Europe.  Additionally, the 3 phase Sales Channel Partner Manager must act as a Business Representative/Brand Ambassador at major industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote the Clients brand and to generate leads for both the client and the clients channel partners.

Key Responsibilities And Activities Include
  • Responsible in Client sales strategy and plans within Europe and assigned regions

  • Develop the breadth and depth of sales throughout the existing and new sales partners

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with the company’s Channel Partners through working collaboratively with their management, sales Execute and marketing teams to foster a culture of mutual trust and respect

  • Work closely with Channel Partners to understand their business objectives and maximise sales performance in the most efficient, cost effective and commercial manner

  • Provide outstanding customer service through prompt and accurate support and advice

  • Collaborate with the internal Marketing, Order Fulfilment and After sales teams to guarantee the Partners satisfaction and sales objectives

  • Deliver top line sales growth through the identification and “signing up” of new Channel Partners

  • Negotiate, manage, renew and review Channel Partner contracts as required to enable a mutually beneficial trading relationship with Channel Partners

  • Set and deliver forecasts and achieve annual sales targets

  • Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for the assigned region and associated Channel partners

  • “Own” revenue targets and exceed expectations from your portfolio of channel partners

  • Form sales strategies to ensure our client is competitive and innovative

  • Analyse data and deliver periodic reports to the sales, design and marketing teams to provide key business insights to include, but not be limited to, market segmentation, trends and target accounts

Education And Experience Requirements
  • At least 4+ years of Sales experience

  • Experience in channel sales in the 3phase UPS or power protection marketplace is essential

  • Formal sales training is an advantage but is not essential

  • Minimum of one major European language (e.g. German, French, Italian, Spanish) in addition to English is desirable but is not essential

  • Solid, demonstrable sales track record in European markets

  • Excellent financial and commercial acumen

  • Ability to motivate Channel Partners to set and deliver sales targets

  • An established network of contacts across the 3phase UPS and/or power protection industry is a plus

  • Proven track record of achieving sales growth and delivery of results to business plans

  • Proven track record of successful channel partner development

  • Technical background is a plus
