Our long-standing SMPS client wanted to
build an engineering team of 7 in a new city. This included a mix of senior and
junior electronics engineers (analog design and digital design), PCB engineers,
and mechanical engineers.


We knew that a large multi-national
American company had a team that was in danger of redundancy. We approached the
team and put them forward. Knowing that it was unlikely that we would secure
the whole team, we then bolstered these candidates with additional engineers,
both from inside Ireland and outside Ireland.


3 months after the assignment was given to
PER, our client had secured the core of their new team. After an additional 3
months, the rest of the team were in place and the office was operational.
