Challenge

Our client needed a Power Semiconductors
Regional Sales Manager to look after the West Coast Accounts – a key role for a
semiconductors company! They needed to have a degree in electronics, managerial
experience, and experience in the low power range. There was a large travel
component and, crucially, the client wanted candidates with dynamism.

Solution

Dynamism can only be screened for during
phone calls and video calls so we put an emphasis on arranging as many
consultations as possible with our candidates to find those with the energy
needed by the role.

Result

Given the strategically important nature of the role, we had to find the perfect
candidate. We talked to hundreds of potential candidates and conducted over 60
screening interviews until we found the candidate with the right combination of
dynamism and technical sales experiences in the low-power power semiconductor
market.
