Challenge:

We were contacted by a UPS company that wanted to fill an executive position within a set time frame. Because it is a small/medium sized company and a close-knit team it was important to find the right personality fit.

Solution:

After being briefed by the client about the new sales directorship role, we agreed a structured timetable. We began our executive search campaign by looking for distribution network operators (DNOs) inside the UPS sector to ensure the candidates we contacted had in-depth knowledge of the market. Then we researched the companies’ organisational structures and began contacting the strongest candidates. Scott was one of the candidates we identified.

Result:

Although he hadn’t been actively searching for a new role, Scott was willing to discuss the opportunity with us and liked what he heard. After four years with his previous employer, he decided that the time was right to advance his career. Scott was appointed to the post within the agreed timescale.
