David was a very successful businessman who had reached a senior level in the electronics industry and had achieved many of his goals. He contacted us in the hope that we’d be able to find him a new role that he’d still find challenging but would allow him to spend less time travelling internationally and more time with his family.


Finding a new role for David had to be handled sensitively due to his profile in the UPS industry and the relatively small size of the market. Through our contacts in the UPS industry, we understood that a managing director position was about to become available at a company local to David. Due to the high-profile nature of the appointment, we spoke to our contacts to sell a skillset without mentioning any names or producing a CV.


We successfully placed David in the MD role shortly after. It’s a job that makes full use of his experience in the industry but also allows him to spend less time travelling to and from work and to meetings overseas.
